  2. Consideration: Resolution appointing a member to the Parks and Recreation, Board, to serve without compensation through January 9, 2021 (to fill the unexpired term of Keehn Berry).
  3. Consideration: Resolution declaring certain personal property surplus and authorizing its sale at public Internet auction.
  4. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of a service agreement between the City and Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
  5. Public hearing: Consideration of a resolution the vacating the cul-de-sac on the west end of Ridge Crest Road.
  6. Announcement: The next regular meeting of the City Council is November 13, 2017, at 7 p.m. in the Council Chamber of City Hall located at 56 Church Street, Mountain Brook, AL 35213.
  7. Comments from residents.
  8. Adjourn.

  2. Consideration: Resolution expressing gratitude to Judge James H. Hard for his service on The Emmet O’Neal Library Board.
  3. Approval of the minutes of the September 25, 2017 regular meeting of the City Council.
  4. Consideration: Resolution appointing a member to the Emmet O’Neal Library Board, to serve without compensation through September 30, 2021 (to fill the seat of Judge James Hard).
  5. Consideration: Resolution declaring certain personal property surplus and authorizing its sale at public Internet auction.
  6. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of the following service agreements:
    7. a. Alabama Symphonic Association, b. McWane Science Center, c. Jefferson/Blount/St. Clair Mental Health Authority, d. Exceptional Foundation, e. Birmingham Museum of Art, f. Alabama Ballet, g. Birmingham Children’s Theatre, h. Prescott House, i. Birmingham Zoo, j. Alabama Veterans’ Memorial Foundation, k. Jefferson County Historical Commission, and l. All In Mountain Brook m. Birmingham Business Alliance
  7. Consideration: Resolution setting a public hearing for November 13, 2017, at 7 p.m. to consider an ordinance rezoning the property located in the vicinity of Overton Village from Mixed Use to Residence F and Residence G and amending the corresponding Overton Village Building and Development Regulating Plan from “Secondary Frontage” to “Residential Neighborhood Frontage”.
  8. Announcement: The next regular meeting of the City Council is October 23, 2017, at 7 p.m. in the Council Chamber of City Hall located at 56 Church Street, Mountain Brook, AL 35213.
