As a matter of convenience, members of the public are invited to listen and observe in public meetings by Internet video conference. Presenters and others interested in a particular matter for discussion are encouraged to attend the meeting in-person. The City is not responsible for technical issues that may occur that interfere with the virtual meeting. The City Council, at its sole discretion, may proceed with its in-person business meeting regardless of whether virtual attendees can hear and/or observe the proceedings. The City intends to make the meeting available by way of the Zoom app (re: Meeting ID 801-559-1126, password 09232024).

1. Down Syndrome Acceptance Month Proclamation.
2. Mountain Brook Superintendent Dr. Dicky Barlow to discuss school safety.
3. Approval of the minutes of the September 9, 2024, regular meeting of the City Council.
4. Consideration: Resolution approving the cost-sharing of the Local Government Health Insurance Plan (LGHIP) medical/dental insurance premiums as established by the State Employee’s Insurance Board (SEIB).
5. Consideration: Resolution accepting the City’s Storm Water Management Program Plan.
6. Consideration: Resolution increasing the salary schedule for all classified, unclassified and part-time employees by three percent (3%).
7. Consideration: Resolution executing a master contract with Alabama Power Company for Public Safety Services (Surveillance-Governmental).
8. Consideration: Resolution accepting the proposal submitted by Wisener LLC for the Sidewalk Project on Locksley Drive.
9. Consideration: Ordinance adopting the City’s budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2024 and ending September 30, 2025.
10. Consideration: Ordinance increasing the salary of the City Manager.
11. Comments from residents and attendees.
12. Announcement: The City Council will hold a special work session on September 26, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. to discuss the Halbrook Lane, Arundel Drive, & Cromwell Drive traffic improvements.
13. Announcement: The next regular meeting of the City Council is October 14, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.
