(collectively, "Law Firm") to represent the City in the prosecution of legal claims against manufacturers and distributors of opioids arising out of the manufacturers’ and distributors’ fraudulent and negligent marketing and distribution of opioids and related matters.

Consideration: Resolution regarding the refiling of an application to rezone property located in the vicinity of Overton Village from Mixed use to Residence F and Residence G and amending the corresponding Overton Village Building and Development Regulation Plan from “Secondary Frontage” to “Residential Neighborhood Frontage” (re: December 11, 2017 public hearing).
6. Consideration: Ordinance increasing the salary of the City Manager effective March 6, 2018, and amending the related employment agreement.
7. Consideration: Ordinance permanently relocating the Mountain Brook Elementary polling location to Canterbury United Methodist Church and reaffirming the other five polling locations within the City effective for the August 28, 2018, municipal election.
8. Public hearing: Consideration of an ordinance rezoning parcels of land in Mountain Brook and unincorporated Jefferson County from Residence A and R-1, respectively, to Planned Unit Development (PUD) for business and professional office uses (in conjunction with the annexation of the property in unincorporated Jefferson County).
9. Consideration: Ordinance annexing a 1.7 +/- acre parcel located at 2908 Pump House Road to the City of Mountain Brook, conditioned upon said parcel being rezoned from Jefferson County R-1 and an adjacent parcel located in the City from Residence A [both] to Planned Unit Development (PUD) for business and professional uses (re: Ordinance 2010 above).
10. Public hearing: Consideration of an ordinance amending the master development plan of Calton Hill to include additional adjoining property (vacated 3rd Street right-of-way) to be zoned Residential Infill District.
