- Consideration: Resolution expressing thanks to Harold Doss for his service on the City’s Planning Commission.
- Approval of the minutes of the August 27, 2012 regular meeting of the City Council.
- Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of an agreement between the City and Trobaugh and Company, LLC with respect to business license and tax auditing services.
- Consideration: Resolution declaring certain equipment surplus and authorizing its sale at public Internet auction.
- Consideration: Resolution approving an increase in the purchase order threshold from $500 to $1,000 as recommended in The Mercer Group, Inc. report dated July 18, 2012.
- Consideration: Resolution accepting the professional services proposal submitted by Fontenot Benefits & Actuarial Consulting for their actuarial valuation of the City’s retiree medical benefit plan as required [every two years] by GASB Statements 43 and 45.
- Consideration: Resolution approving a [restaurant] conditional use application submitted by Deborah Stone for her proposed operation of a fresh juice/raw food bar (between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.) at 17 Dexter Avenue [Local Business District].
- Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of a one-year service agreement between the City and American Red Cross.
- Public hearing: Consideration of an ordinance adopting the 2012 International Building Code, 2012 International Residential Code, 2012 International Fuel Gas Code, 2012 International Mechanical Code, 2012 International Plumbing Code, the 2012 International Fire Code (all to become effective November 1, 2012).
- Public hearing: Consideration of an ordinance amending Section 109-41(b)(6) of the City Code with respect to the requirement of a survey for alterations or additions to residential properties.
