- Marylyn Eubank will demonstrate the new Emmet O’Neal Library mobile app and website which improve access to your patron account, the library catalog, and Emmet O’Neal Library’s calendar of events.
- Approval of the minutes of the July 23, 2018, regular meeting of the Mountain Brook City Council.
- Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of an agreement between the City and Trobaugh and Company, LLC, with respect to business license and tax auditing services.
- Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of a sidewalk project funding agreement with the State of Alabama Department of Transportation (sidewalk along Dunbarton Drive from North Woodridge Road to Locksley Drive, Project No. TAPBH-TA18(931), CPMS No. 100068450).
- Consideration: Resolution declaring certain property surplus and authorizing its disposition.
- Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of a professional services agreement with Skipper Consulting, Inc. with respect to a pedestrian traffic flow study on Montevallo Road at Jemison Lane in Mountain Brook Village.
- Consideration: Resolution authorizing the installation of a fire hydrant at the intersection of Lewis Circle and Weatherton Drive.
- Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of a professional services agreement with Landscape Design, Inc. for landscape design services with respect to the planting of heritage oak trees in the City.
- Consideration: Resolution accepting the professional services proposal submitted by Fontenot Benefits & Actuarial Consulting for their actuarial valuation of the City’s retiree medical benefit plan as required [every two years] by GASB Statement 75.
- Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of a charitable gift agreement between the City and Pump House Road, LLC with respect to its donation of undeveloped land [later in calendar year 2018] in the vicinity of Pump House Road.
- Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of a cooperative agreement between the cities of Mountain Brook, Homewood and Birmingham with respect to the proposed connecting pedestrian crossing along Hollywood Boulevard over U. S. Highway 280.
- Public hearing: Consideration of an ordinance amending the storm water management illicit discharge regulations.
- Public hearing: Consideration of an ordinance amending the erosion and sedimentation control regulations.
- Public hearing: Consideration of an ordinance amending the energy code.
- Announcement: The next regular meeting of the City Council is August 27, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber of City Hall located at 56 Church Street, Mountain Brook, AL 35213.
