1. Introduction: Council President Pro Tempore to introduce K. C. Hairston, municipal judge, who will administer the oaths of office
2. Inauguration of the three members of the City Council elected to office
3. Motion: Election of the City Council President
4. Motion: Election of the City Council President Pro Tempore
5. Motion: Declare vacancy for City Council Place 1
6. Motion: Table the committee appointments until a later date (to be determined).
7. Consent agenda:
   a. Consideration: Resolution adopting the rules of order and procedure
   b. Consideration: Resolution appointing the City Attorney(s) (Bishop Brooks, LLC and Starnes, Davis & Florie, LLP)
   c. Consideration: Resolution appointing the members of the Mountain Brook City Council as the Board of Commissioners of the Mountain Brook Emergency Communication District and nomination of the Chairman of the Emergency Communication District Board
   d. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the signatories for Regions and First Horizon
8. Consideration: Ordinance appointing the City Manager (Steve Boone), effective December 1, 2025
9. Consideration: Ordinance setting the salary for the City Manager.
10. Consideration: Ordinance appointing the City Clerk (Heather Richards)
11. Inauguration of the City Manager and City Clerk
12. Comments from residents and attendees.
13. Announcement: The next regular meeting of the City Council is November 10, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.
