- Down Syndrome Acceptance Month Proclamation.
- Approval of the minutes of the August 25, 2025, regular meeting of the City Council.
- Approval of the minutes of the September 2, 2025 special meeting of the City Council.
- Consideration: Resolution increasing the salary schedule for all classified, unclassified and part-time employees by 2.5 percent (2.5%).
- Consideration: Resolution approving the cost-sharing of the Local Government Health Insurance Plan (LGHIP) medical/dental insurance premiums as established by the State Employee’s Insurance Board (SEIB).
- Consideration: Resolution accepting the proposal with Bailey Lang Group for professional land surveying services with respect to the property located at 4274 Old Leeds Road.
- Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of an Agreement with Jefferson County for contingency funding to support the Electronic Collection Event held at the Birmingham Zoo.
- First reading: Ordinance to amend Chapter 26, Article IV of the City Code of the City of Mountain Brook, to increase the sales and use tax rate.
- Consideration: Ordinance adopting the City’s budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2025 and ending September 30, 2026.
- Consideration: Ordinance to regulate the sale and distribution of consumable vapor products and to provide a license tax thereof.
- Public Hearing: Consideration of an Ordinance prohibiting left turns from Wilderness Road onto Fair Oaks Drive between the hours of 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. on weekdays when school is in session.
- Public Hearing: Consideration: Ordinance amending Chapter 129 of the Code of the City of Mountain Brook, as it pertains to Article XVIII General Regulations and Provisions.
- Public Hearing: Consideration of an Ordinance amending Article XXIII of the Code of Ordinance of the City of Mountain Brook with respect to Home Occupations.
- Comments from residents and attendees.
- Announcement: The next regular meeting of the City Council is October 13, 2025 at 7:00 p.m.
