Members of the public are invited to listen, observe and participate in public meetings by internet video conference.  Seating capacity at the 7 p.m. meeting is expected to be approximately 45. Should attendance exceed seating capacity, persons may not be allowed into the Council room. Anyone turned away at the door may tune into the meeting by way of the Zoom app (re: Meeting ID 801-559-1126, password 07122021). Unvaccinated attendees are asked to mask. 

1. Lee Parker to address the governing body regarding the 60th anniversary of Mountain Brook High School’s football state championship.
2. Approval of the minutes of the June 28, 2021, regular meeting of the City Council.
3. Consideration: Resolution declaring certain Library property surplus and authorizing its sale at public internet auction.
4. Consideration: Resolution ratifying the Repair and Settlement Agreement between the City and owner of the property located at 3381 Overbrook Road with respect to sewer lateral damage remediation.
5. Consideration: Resolution approving Loan Agreement and Amendment to Ground Lease between City and Mountain Brook Sports Park Foundation for improvements to Rathmell Park and authorizing the execution thereof by the Mayor.
6. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the [re]creation of the Municipal Clerk III position (class number 02107) to be filled at the discretion of the City Manager.
7. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of a professional service agreement between the City and Schoel Engineering Company, Inc. with respect to a drainage study and preliminary design work in the vicinity of Canterbury Road area of the City.
8. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of a professional service agreement between the City and Schoel Engineering Company, Inc. with respect to a drainage project improvements and design study at Mountain Brook Junior High.
9. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of a 2022 public transportation agreement between the City and Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority.
10. Consideration: Resolution ratifying the execution of a $20,000 Community Grant Program grant application between the City and Jefferson County Commission with respect to the City’s financial participation in the Crestline Elementary School gymnasium and pickleball courts
11. Public hearing for approval of a conditional use (interior design) in the Professional District - Alex Herchart, 2102 Cahaba Road, Suite D in English Village.
12. Comments from residents and attendees.
13. Announcement: The next regular meeting of the City Council is July 26, 2021, at 7:00 p.m.
