As a matter of convenience, members of the public are invited to listen, observe and participate in public meetings by Internet video conference. Presenters and others interested in a particular matter for discussion are encouraged to attend the meeting in-person. The City is not responsible for technical issues that may occur that interfere with the virtual meeting. The City Council, at its sole discretion, may proceed with its in-person business meeting regardless of whether virtual attendees can hear and/or observe the proceedings. The City intends to make the meeting available by way of the Zoom app (re: Meeting ID 801-559-1126, password 12132021). Unvaccinated in-person attendees are asked to mask.
- Proclamation recognizing Tricia Kirk for her 20+ years as Director of The Exceptional Foundation.
- Approval of the minutes of the November 22, 2021, regular meeting of the City Council.
- Consideration: Resolution executing a 3-year extension of the parking lease agreement with Merkos L’lnyonie Chinuch of Alabama (Chaba’d of Alabama).
- Consideration: Resolution ratifying and authorizing the transfer of $3.2 million from the General Fund to Capital.
- Consideration: Resolution adopting the Division “G” Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan, prepared by the Jefferson County EMA, in fulfillment of the Federal Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000 and the local mitigation plan requirements of the 44 C.V.R. Section 201.6.
- Consideration: Resolution ratifying change orders with respect to the Youth Complex Phase II (Project #LBHM 190024B).
- Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of a professional services contract with Schoel Engineering Company, Inc. for their consulting services with respect to the design of a culvert replacement at Northcote Drive
- Consideration: Resolution awarding the bid for the purchase of Avon Gas Masks for the Police Department.
- Consideration: Resolution awarding the bid for the purchase of patrol vehicle outfitting for the Police Department.
- Consideration: Resolution approving the cost-sharing of the Local Government Health Insurance Plan (LGHIP) medical/dental insurance premiums as established by the State Employees’ Insurance Board (SEIB).
- Consideration: Resolution authorizing the purchase and installation of security cameras at the Athletic Complex.
- Consideration: Resolution re-appointing Noel Dowling to the Board of Zoning Adjustment, to serve without compensation through December 31, 2024.
- Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of a rental property agreement for the use of the 116 Hillsdale Road property for the temporary use as a construction project management office.
- Announcement: There will be a special meeting of the City Council Friday, December 17, 2021at 8:30am to request legislation changing the election cycles of municipal elections in Mountain Brook.

- Announcement: The Storm Water Management Plan will be considered by the City Council at the January 10, 2022 regular meeting of the City Council.
- Announcement: The next regular meeting of the City Council is January 10, 2022, (time to be announced at a later date)
