  2. Approval of the minutes of the August 9, 2021, regular meeting of the City Council.
  3. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of 1) an agreement between the City and EMS Management & Consulting, Inc. for their provision of ambulance billing services and 2) the related business associates agreement
  4. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the City Manager to offer continuing medical coverage to eligible employees (namely a) 20 years of City service at any age or b) 10 years of City service who are eligible for normal retirement benefits and who elect to retire between September 1, 2021 through May 1, 2022
  5. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the sale or disposal of certain surplus property
  6. Consideration: Ordinance appointing Heather Richards as the City Clerk of Mountain Brook.

  4. Consideration: Resolution ratifying the City’s waiver of potential conflict of interest with respect to the City’s bond counsel.
  5. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of a professional services agreement between the City and Schoel Engineering with respect to the design of a storm water detention pond in the vicinity of Mountain Brook Junior High.
  6. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of a right-of-way encroachment agreement between the City and Mountain Brook Board of Education with respect to the Crestline Elementary School construction project.
  7. Consideration: resolution authorizing the execution of a cost sharing agreement between the City and City of Birmingham with respect to roadway and traffic signal modifications at the intersection of Montevallo Road, Euclid Avenue and Leech Drive.
  8. Consideration: Ordinance authorizing the issuance, execution, sale and delivery of $4 million General Obligation Warrants (closing date August 10, 2021).

Consideration: Resolution authorizing the transfer of funds received/earned under the American Rescue Plan Act for 1) lost revenue through December 31, 2020 in the amount of $1,555,463 and 2) reimbursement of costs incurred in fiscal 2020 for the South Brookwood Road storm sewer rehabilitation in the amount of $325,745 from the General Fund (146) to the infrastructure Capital Projects Fund (417).
  7. Consideration: Resolution recommending to the ABC Board the issuance of a 140 – Special Events Retail license to TRO, Inc. (trade name Otey’s Fest) for its special event to be held July 31, 2021.
  8. Consideration: Resolution reappointing Jennifer M. McInerney to the Jefferson County Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Authority, Inc. to serve without compensation through July 27, 2027.
  9. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of an agreement between the City and Trobaugh and Company, LLC with respect to professional tax and license auditing services.
  10. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of an agreement between the Avenu Insights & Analytic, LLC with respect to professional tax and license discovery services.
  11. Consideration: Resolution declaring certain property surplus and authorizing its sale at public internet auction.
