As a matter of convenience, members of the public are invited to listen, observe and participate in public meetings by Internet video conference. Seating capacity at the City’s public meetings may be limited for distancing purposes. Should attendance exceed seating capacity, persons may not be allowed into the meeting room. Anyone turned away at the door may tune into the meeting by way of the Zoom app (re: Meeting ID 801-559-1126, password 08092021). Unvaccinated attendees are asked to mask.

1. Approval of the minutes of the July 26, 2021, regular meeting of the City Council.
2. Approval of the minutes of the August 4, 2021, special meeting of the City Council.
3. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the sale of surplus property by way of public Internet auction.
4. Consideration: Resolution ratifying the City’s waiver of potential conflict of interest with respect to the City’s bond counsel.
5. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of a professional services agreement between the City and Schoel Engineering with respect to the design of a storm water detention pond in the vicinity of Mountain Brook Junior High.
6. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of a right-of-way encroachment agreement between the City and Mountain Brook Board of Education with respect to the Crestline Elementary School construction project.
7. Consideration: resolution authorizing the execution of a cost sharing agreement between the City and City of Birmingham with respect to roadway and traffic signal modifications at the intersection of Montevallo Road, Euclid Avenue and Leech Drive.
8. Consideration: Ordinance authorizing the issuance, execution, sale and delivery of $4 million General Obligation Warrants (closing date August 10, 2021).
9. Comments from residents and attendees.
10. Announcement: The next regular meeting of the City Council is August 23, 2021, at 7:00 p.m.
11. Adjourn.
