As a matter of convenience, members of the public are invited to listen and observe in public meetings by Internet video conference. Presenters and others interested in a particular matter for discussion are encouraged to attend the meeting in-person. The City is not responsible for technical issues that may occur that interfere with the virtual meeting. The City Council, at its sole discretion, may proceed with its in-person business meeting regardless of whether virtual attendees can hear and/or observe the proceedings. The City intends to make the meeting available by way of the Zoom app (re: Meeting ID 831-8618-4803, password 07222024).

1. Approval of the minutes of the July 8, 2024, regular meeting of the City Council.
2. Consideration: Resolution authorizing payment from the General Fund into the City of Mountain Brook Section 115 (retiree medical insurance) Trust.
3. Consideration: Resolution executing an Intergovernmental Agreement with Jefferson County with respect to the Electronic Collection Event held at the Birmingham Zoo.
4. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the sale or disposal of certain surplus property.
5. Consideration: Resolution ratifying Change Order #1 and approving Change Orders 2-5 with respect to the Mountain Brook Fire Station No. 2 project.
6. Consideration: Resolution executing a License Agreement with Birmingham Levite Jewish Community Center with respect to the City’s use of the outdoor recreational field and Gymnasium.
7. Consideration: Ordinance amending Chapter 38 of the City Code regarding public parks.
8. Comments from residents and attendees.
9. Announcement: The next regular meeting of the City Council is August 12, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.
10. Adjourn.
