As a matter of convenience, members of the public are invited to listen and observe this public meeting by Internet video conference. Presenters and others interested in addressing the governing body must attend the meeting in-person in order to eliminate the possibility of virtual attendees expecting to speak publicly but unable to do so due to unforeseen technical difficulties. The City is not responsible for technical issues that may occur that interfere with the virtual meeting. The City Council, at its sole discretion, may proceed with its in-person business meeting regardless of whether virtual attendees can hear and/or observe the proceedings. The City intends to make the meeting available by way of the Zoom app (re: Meeting ID 801-559-1126, password 11082021). Unvaccinated in-person attendees are asked to mask.

1. Proclamation recognizing Joann Long, owner of The Dande’lion, for its 52 years in business in Mountain Brook.
2. Approval of the minutes of the October 25, 2021, regular meeting of the City Council.
3. Consideration: Resolution approving a one-time pay increase for certain employees.
4. Consideration: Resolution accepting the professional services proposal submitted by Enviro Management Company, Inc., for the development of a sanitary sewer overflow plan for the waste water treatment plant at Mountain Brook High School pursuant to NPDES permit requirements.
5. Consideration: Resolution awarding the bid for the police tactical van conversion.
6. Consideration: Resolution accepting the professional services proposal submitted by Sain Associates for surveying and engineering with respect to the planned sidewalk on Old Leeds Road from Shady Lane to Old Leeds Lane.
7. Consideration: Resolution declaring a totaled vehicle surplus and authorizing its sale for scrap.
8. Consideration: Ordinance repealing and restating sections of the City Code with respect to the adoption of the International Code Council’s 2021 Building, 2020 National Electrical, 2021 Fuel Gas and 2021 Plumbing codes.
9. Heather Stuckey to address City Council regarding its recent action seeking assistance from the Alabama Legislature with respect to proposed election legislation for Class 6 cities in Alabama.
