1. Proclamation: City’s participation in “A State of Teal” – 2017 GYN Cancer Awareness Campaign.
2. Proclamation: Constitution Week.
3. Proclamation: 2017 “Light Up Teal for Trigeminal Neuralgia Awareness Day” on October 7, 2017.
4. Approval of the minutes of the August 28, 2017, regular meeting of the City Council.
5. Consideration: Resolution declaring certain personal property surplus and authorizing its sale at a public Internet auction.
6. Consideration: Resolution amending the City’s granted leave without pay policy and, more specifically, the terms of and an employee’s eligibility for the continuation of benefits during such unpaid leave of absence.
7. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of a petition for vacation with respect to the cul-de-sac on the west end of Ridge Crest Road.
8. Consideration: Resolution setting a public hearing for October 23, 2017, at 7 p.m. to consider the vacation of the cul-de-sac on the west end of Ridge Crest Road.
9. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of amendments to the various facilities maintenance agreements with respect to the costs of improvements to the junior high playing field and high school baseball field and related reimbursements by the various associations that use these facilities.
10. Public hearing: Consideration of an ordinance amending the zoning code of the City with respect to short-term (less than 30-days) residential property rentals.
11. Announcement: The next regular meeting of the City Council is September 25, 2017, at 7 p.m. in the Council Chamber of City Hall located at 56 Church Street, Mountain Brook, AL 35213.
12. Comments from residents.
