1. September 2018 proclaimed “Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month”.
2. Approval of the minutes of the August 13, 2018, regular meeting of the Mountain Brook City Council.
3. Consideration: Resolution appointing Rosalie (“Ro”) Gambrill Holman as a member of the Board of Landscape Design of the City of Mountain Brook, to fill the unexpired term of Lindsay Smith Puckett and serve without compensation, with the term of office to end September 12, 2019.
4. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of a construction agreement between the City and Alabama Department of Transportation with respect to sidewalks along Pine Ridge Road from Overbrook Road to Old Leeds Road (Project No. CMAQ-3718( ), CPMS No. 100068126).
5. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the creation of four (4) additional police officer positions to allow for the future deployment of School Resource Officers (SROs) in the Mountain Brook schools.
6. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of an agreement between the City and SiteMed Fire to perform physical examinations for firefighters.
7. Consideration: Resolution authorizing the execution of 1) an amendment to billing services agreement between the City and EMS Management & Consultants, Inc., and 2) a Medicare Participating Ambulance Agreement between the City and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama (BCBS) along with such other documents that may be determined necessary for BCBS to remit transportation fee payments directly to the City’s billing contractor.
8. Consideration: Ordinance amending Sec. 14-1 of the City Code regarding Sec. 109-2(c) building permit fees and Sec. 109-400(a) plan review fees.
9. Consideration: Ordinance amending Sec. 14-1 of the City Code with respect to ambulance transportation fees.
10. Announcement: The next regular meeting of the City Council is September 10, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber of City Hall located at 56 Church Street, Mountain Brook, AL 35213.
11. Comments from residents.
12. Adjourn.
